to say a truth,
Harajuku street scene has been a little bit boring
for some years.
many girls and boys tend to wear similar style,
not try to new style, new fashion.




多分ここ最近一番のお気に入りの写真。
5人を撮らせてもらった時
大きな潮目に立ち会った気がして
実際全身の肌が一瞬ふわぁっと泡立ったりして。
何て言うのか、「手ごたえ」というのはつまりこういう事かと。




ニュージェネレーションは、パワフルだ。




but it's time to change.
when I photographed this pic,
I felt something new generation was coming 
at Harajuku street,my most favorite place!




とても破天荒、と同時にちょっと不安になる位に繊細で。




とてもドキドキする、文句なしにわくわくする。
いずれにせよ
あたしは彼らの存在そのものに、一つの希望を感じているのだと思う。

パリやＮＹでは良くあう彼女に
まさか渋谷で会うなんて。




Hello,Kate,one of my fav women in the world!


I often photographed her at Paris, NY fashion week,
so I was so surorised to happen to find her
in front of  Starbucks in Shibuya!




ハグしてくれた、その腕がまた
力強くてちょっと驚く。

仕立て屋の彼。
あるブランドで働いていて、今年の1月に独立をしたって言っていた。




`Do you remember?
We met at the show of Theatre Products
some years ago.'
After the shooting. he talked to me.
`well,,,,,Oh I remember! maybe at the hall of old department
in Nihon-bashi?'
`Yeah. so lucky you've remembered it.haha.'






「仕立て屋」。
古い時代のそのままに、お客さんの所に出向き、
袖丈、首丈、すべてのサイズをメジャーで丁寧に計りとる。
生地を選んでイメージを聴き、彼ないし彼女にふさわしい一枚を作り上げる。




「お客さんとより近しく向き合って、洋服が作る事が出来て、
そこがいい点。タグには、着る人の名前を入れるんです。
デザイナーや、ブランドの名前ではなく、着るその人自身の。」

'I had worked at this brand as pattern maker for long time.'

He begin to talk.

’But I has been undecided whether to work at ready-to-wear business  or not.

it's a little,,,I don't know how I can explain my feeling.

anyway, I has left the brand,and begin to work as a tailor and dressmaker.

I wanna foster closer ties between me and customer.

you know it's old fashioned.but it fit my style,my life.'

手結びの蝶タイ、が彼をそのまま物語る。


一つ一つに対して丁寧に、時間と手間をおしまずに。
どんな些細な事にも、向き合って「ふさわしい」場所を探し出す。
洋服とも、人と人との関係性にも。

It's rare cace for me to photograph the women (not girl !) 

in Harajuku.

There are some attractive women at Aoyama,sometimes at Shibuya.

so I was a little surprised to find her.

サラサラの髪、良く焼けた肌。

きっぱりとした青と白。

She's working as free lance market and PR communication.

Between the meeting,, she just drop off Harajuku,she told.

バックはCORTO MORTEDO、

「ここのPRやってるんです。」って。

平日、お昼もちょっと過ぎた明治通り。

ちょうど次の打ち合わせに向かう途中の一枚。

「さっき切ったばっか」だと言うヘアスタイルは
ふわふわの逆毛、
光を孕んでキラキラひかる。





He's stret style photographer,
just happened to meet him 
when he make a street snap at Meiji-street.




多分あたしは人いちばい欲張り屋なので
学ぶべき事がたくさんある。
やりたい事もたくさんある。


全部が全部やりたくてシャニムニしてると、
一つ一つのコンテンツが薄くなったり、
ちょっと滞っている事、それ自体ににがっかりをしてしまう。


そういう時はちょっとリセット。


沢山の事を少しずつすすめるのじゃなくて、
一つの事に集中してとりかかる。


とりあえず一つは出来た！という満足感と充実感は
次のステップのチャレンジの、
モチベーションのチャージになる。
