Such a funny guy!

愛すべきは、この屈託のない笑顔。

He told he went back home
from super low price market,Tamade.
(It's local supermarket only in Osaka, I hear.)

知らない事や、違う文化への
柔軟な好奇心と、旺盛な発想力。

Thank you for your big smile!

Shito-san! I was SO thrilled to meet you today. I cant believe I saw you! I have been to Harajuku many times during this trip.

Today I met my host families sensei, I was really dressed down because of it! Haha. I didnt think I would go to Harajuku today, but I changed my mind...Im really addicted to just roaming the streets and watching amazing people and fashion.

Anyway..Would love to see you again in Tokyo someday. Thanks for being so sweet! Wish me luck with getting home...My standby ticket has been crazy, all flights are full full full!

The message on the inside flap of the cap is worth a smile and makes me think about adding some letters to my hat accessories as well.

sometimes I am so jealous about how people feel free to wear anything in the other countries. I can see it in England now: nobody cares if your style makes you look like a crazy homeless, like in this pic, or like a Drag Queen.
If this guy lived in Milan, I don't know what kind of people could approach him... anyway I would be one of the several people who could give him some change to buy some bread and new cloths...

In that case Tokyo is in a way more advanced because people can dress more avant garde and yet they are still accepting of it.

Its not like people just throw stuff together. There is definitely a code to fashion in Tokyo and Osaka. Im glad everywhere isnt like Milan only caring about looking expensive or high brands, or being attractive. This is such a limiting mindset on fashion, and self expression.

I think the reason many people that understand Japanese fashion is more than just being shocking or looking like a lolita appreciate it because it is a form of self expression, as well as artisitic creativity. In this sense, I believe Tokyo is and will continue to be ahead of the times.
