Rei started her career as a photographer for the well known Street fashion culture magazines:「STREET」「FRUiTS」and「TUNE」. Rei has started to show Tokyo's street fashion to the rest of the world via her website "STYLEfrom TOKYO" since 2008.

Rei has been described as a pioneer in showing Tokyo’s street fashion to the world via her blog, and also a fashion icon in Harajuku. She's been taking street snaps all over the world, using her wide network and fancy footwork. A well-known photographer/blogger, holding exhibitions and lectures on Tokyo’s street fashion, in Russia. Rei's photos have also been used for entire floor of fashion building in Singapore.  

“STYLE from TOKYO Correspondence” (an irregularly distributed mail magazine) is popular among industry people. A photo book with collection of Tokyo’s street fashion “STYLE from TOKYO”, and Tokyo guide “tokyo 100 fashion guide” are now on sale.

Her first photobook is sold at Colette(Paris),Palais de Tokyo(paris) and some edgy select book shop at all of the world and second book is translated to Chinese and sold in Taiwan, Hong-kong, and Manira.

Rei is known as famous Asian fashionista girl by Scott Shuman(the Sartolialist).He featured her on his 2^nd photobook.
