on the street at night, Myoung-dong, Seoul.

「撮らせてもらっていいですか?」と聞いたら、
ゆっくりゆっくり体と顔をこちらに向けて、
すうっと、生(き)のまま佇むおじいさん。

It's my first time to go Seoul.

Myoug-dong,it's enelgish town.
so crowded, so noisy,so many people
in the midnight.
it's like Kabuki-cho in Shinjuku for me.

but when I shoot him,
I feel there is no noise , no people.
there is something like a quietness.

I agree there's a feeling of stillness in this photo. It's simple but very poignant for me.

What a great photo. Marriage of modern and ancient. I noticed katakana writing in the background. Is that for Japanese people or do Koreans also use katakana?
